Safe venting for pressure equalization during the solvent supply by integrated air valve. Protection against dangerous solvent vapours.
For solvent bottles on HPLC devices

All SafetyCaps are delivered with an air valve and corresponding fittings.

The air valve opens when the HPLC pump is operated, and allows air to flow into the bottle – this prevents underpressure in the bottle. As soon as the pump stops, the membrane immediately seals shut and no dangerous solvent vapors can escape.
